    We provide education for children and young people at six hospitals in London, England. We also provide school places for a number of students who cannot access mainstream school due to their medical conditions.

    As well as a broad academic curriculum we also offer an enriched arts curriculum of art, music, poetry and writing.

  • Summer Holidays

    olivias painting thumbThe summer holidays are here, but the hospital school will stay open with our fabulous team of learning assistants, artists, and musicians who provide arts, music and IT-based activities. You can see some of the work students have produced during our holiday programmes here. Our school is open 50 weeks a year and is funded during the holidays by our charity FCCHS.

    The young people at Lavender Walk have been developing healthy eating habits and an interest in food by looking at food provenance and sustainability, as well as developing knowledge, skills and understanding about how to cook a healthy and nutritious meal.

    Our students have had the pleasure of experiencing three different places of worship this summer term. We visited a Buddhist Wat where pupils were able to share in the mediation process. At the Hindu Mandir students observed the Aarti service and when we visited the Sikh Gurdwara pupils had the pleasure of being able to try Langar - the free kitchen!
