Art
The Art curriculum aims to provide opportunities for children and young people to develop the skills needed to express ideas and feelings, record observations and design and make images and sculptures. The school has an artist in residence and a potter. Children have access to a wide range of creative opportunities, including pottery, sculpture, oil painting, printmaking and collage. We also provide an enriched creative arts programme, which includes music and poetry workshops, storytelling and visiting theatre and dance groups. The students work is on display around the hospitals and in a travelling art exhibition supported by the Charity ‘A Picture of Health.’
