Sonic Postcard Project

Working with a pupils from Collingham Green group, workshop leader Jo Lucas helped our pupils create a fantastic Sonic Postcard of London.

Our field trip was a journey on an open top tourist bus around London where, en route, the pupils interviewed tourists and asked questions about where they were from and what London sounded like compared to their own country. Stopping off at Marble Arch to catch a fantastic flute busker and at Trafalger Square to capture the sounds of the fountains, this Sonic Postcard really sums up the essence of the project whilst integrating themes of language, nationality and the geography of London.
