Who we areOur School
We are a state funded special school in London, England. We provide classroom and ward based education for children while they are in hospital. We are based at 4 hospital sites:
The nun is having fun in the sun
But she saw a slug in her mug
The bee is swimming in the sea
And there's honey in the tree
The bat is scratching the rat
And there's cheese all over the mat
The spoon is on the moon
And the baboon will be here soon
FUNKY BUNNY FUNKY NUNNY
FUNKY BUNNY FUNKY HONEY
FUNKY FUNNY FUNKY SUNNY FUNKY MONEY
The man is in the van
And the pan is in the van
And now the bunny's in the honey
And the money's in the bunny
But the sunny was in the honey
And we've made this poem FUNNY!
FUNKY BUNNY FUNKY NUNNY
FUNKY BUNNY FUNKY HONEY
FUNKY FUNNY FUNKY SUNNY FUNKY MONEY
Each year towards the end of summer term pupil from Collingham Gardens are taken on a school trip to Sayers Croft. Here are some pictures from last year’s visit.
The Red and Blue classes made some Christmas Decorations using salt dough. they made the dough by following a recipe, moulded it into the shapes they wanted and then baked and painted their creations.
On the 28th of November 2007 Abu Naser and Joana Eaves took Taz, Naznin, Aiysha and Joseph from Collingham Gardens (green group) and Mohammed, Thran, Claude and Joao from Chelsea and Westminster hospital on a Geography fieldtrip to the Kew Gardens to learn about how plants adapt to their environment and climate.
