Chelsea & Westsminster Hospital

Chelsea & Westminster is a large general hospital in South West London. The hospital has 60 paediatric beds including an adolescent ward and a burns unit. Specialities include sickle cell anaemia, orthopaedics, gastric and other acute and chronic medical conditions. The school provides education for the three children’s wards, Neptune, Mercury and Pluto, the adolescent ward Jupiter and the burns unit on the fifth floor.There are two well resourced classrooms, one on Neptune Ward and one on Mercury Ward providing access to the National Curriculum at all Key Stages. Children are taught in the classrooms, or if they are unable to leave the ward, by their beds.
