Ofsted

OFSTED inspectors visited us in June 2007,
and we have been judged ‘outstanding in every area'.
The inspectors said: “This is an outstanding school. Parents are overwhelmingly appreciative of the excellent quality of provision for their children". The OFSTED inspectors went on to say
“The school benefits from outstanding leadership and management. The headteacher and all staff are dedicated to enabling children to achieve as well as they can during a difficult time in their lives.”

The comments of both parents and pupils who spoke to the OFSTED inspectors confirmed the excellence of the school, which provides education for children at Chelsea and Westminster, St Mary’s, Royal Brompton Hospital & Collingham Gardens.

One parent said
“My daughter has blossomed at this school” while another said “Our son has made fantastic progress, we cannot praise the school enough.”

The OFSTED inspectors reported speaking to one pupil who said that
"Chelsea Children’s Hospital School was the best thing that had ever happened to him".

What a wonderful idea. What a pity other hospitals are unable to offer the same service.
