Design & TechnologyWe live in an ever changing world, where discoveries are made which lead to more sophisticated and highly technical advances which affect all aspects of our lives. Design & Technology education helps us to understand, use and build upon these advances Pupils learn how to use tools safely to gain confidence in manipulating a wide range of materials to include pottery, textiles, wood, plastic and modelling kits. Project evaluation is encouraged to enable pupils to develop problem-solving skills and to assist them to focus on and share achievements.
