ict.gifInformation and Communication Technology
At CCHS, we recognise the importance of children having strong, creative ICT skills, and to be able to use these skills confidently in all aspects of their lives and the circumstances they encounter in the societies they contribute to. Mastery of ICT skills is becoming essential to the success of an individual in their everyday life and employment.   For some of our students, we see them taking these skills back to their homes in places and countries we would never have thought CCHS would have any influence in. These skills will be passed on to others who can use them purposefully, safely and responsibly in learning, everyday life and employment. ICT capability is fundamental to participation and engagement in any society.
We have developed video conferencing both in classrooms and by the bed for pupils in isolation. Each site has a computer equipped with special needs facilities to enable all children to access education whatever their ability. At CCHS each site has a network of computers linked to the internet.
