Inspection March 2010
Ofsted inspectors visited our school again in March 2010 and judged us outstanding. They said:'Chelsea Children’s Hospital School provides outstanding education for its pupils.'This is based on extremely high quality teaching and learning.'
The inspectors said:
The care, guidance and support provided by all staff are second to none. It is much appreciated not just by pupils, but also by parents. As one pupil said ‘everyone really looks after us’ it’s great, much better than school.’
They went on to say:
'The headteacher’s vision is crucial to the school’s success. She is ably supported by her senior management team which ensures that every aspect of the provision operates very effectively on a day-today basis.'
The inspectors spoke to parents and pupils and said:
'Parents and carers are overwhelmingly positive in their view that the Chelsea Children’s Hospital is an outstanding school.'
One parent said:
‘My daughter’s time at school is a beacon in her day’
Another parent stated that:
‘Classroom teachers and support assistants are fantastic and dedicated to helping pupils to flourish in spite of their difficulties.’

Inspection February 2010
Ofsted inspectors visited our school in February 2009 to look at our work in promoting equality and said :
"The quality of provision to promote equalities for pupils is outstanding".

Inspection June 2007
Ofsted inspectors visited us in June 2007 and judged us "outstanding in every area".
The inspectors said:
"This is an outstanding school. Parents are overwhelmingly appreciative of the excellent quality of provision for their children".
The inspectors went on to say:
"The school benefits from outstanding leadership and management. The headteacher and all staff are dedicated to enabling children to achieve as well as they can during a difficult time in their lives".
The comments of both parents and pupils who spoke to the OFSTED inspectors confirmed the excellence of our school across all sites.
One parent said:
"My daughter has blossomed at this school" while another said "Our son has made fantastic progress, we cannot praise the school enough".
The Ofsted inspectors reported speaking to one pupil who said that:
"Chelsea Children's Hospital School was the best thing that had ever happened to him".
