One of our students, who is learning from home, had fantastic ideas of how we could protect the environment and look after the planet. She made this poster after learning about Earth Day on 22nd April.
In celebration of Recycle week back in September, The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea hosted a sustainable travel bottle cap art competition for schools. The winning entries including 3D shoes and an arrow titled 'A Step in the Right Direction' by children from CCHS Brompton site are now on display in the Sydney Wing coffee shop for the next two weeks. Congratulations to all involved!
Students worked with musicians from Wigmore Hall Learning ensemble on a five-week music project. They showcased their work in a public performance at CW Hospital and a special performance for familes, carers and staff at Collingham Gardens. have a listen!
Today we said thanks to the emergency services for all the fantastic work they do!
The students at the Royal Brompton hospital school designed bookmarks, keyrings, t-shirts and canvas bags which were sold to raise money for Children in Need. The students handcrafted all items, priced items and used great selling skills to raise as much money as possible. They raised an amazing £33.07 in total!
