To celebrate the autumn equinox KS3 students listened to and then learned the jazz standard Equinox, by the saxophonist John Coltrane.
L. played the melody using a saxophone sound on the piano and M. played chords on the guitar. We played the tune through, then L. took a solo and we finished with one more time through the tune.
Lily (our intern) played bass and Martin helped out on keyboards.
