Chicks at Lavender Walk

Our young people and staff observed chicken eggs in an incubator, and soon the chicks hatched from their shells. Once they moved into their brooder, which had a special light to keep them warm, we had the chance to hold them.

The chicks made everyone smile. When they leave the school they will go to live on a free-range farm.
