Ladbroke Grove is our newest school site. Our community provision moved from the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in 2020; first to the Bayswater Centre and now is based at St Charles Square. Here we teach young people from KS2&4 who are unable to attend their mainstream schools because of their medical and mental health needs. The community provision is a short to medium term intervention. It is not a long-term alternative to mainstream education nor a specialist SEMH school.

All students attending are residents of Westminster or RBKC and have a medical or a mental health need.  Referrals to this provision should come from a pupil's home school, with supporting clinical evidence. During their time with us pupils remain on roll at the home school who are expected to play a key role during the pupil's time with us.

We work with pupils, parents, clinical teams and a pupil's referring school to support their re-engagement with education after a period of poor health. When it is considered appropriate we support with reintegration back to a pupil's home school, new school, or FE setting.

Pupils who are referred to us in Yr 11 will be able to take GCSE examinations at the community provision. They will either have been entered by their home school or by us. All students are supported by our Careers Advisor to make informed decisions about their next steps. Individually tailored transition arrangements are made for all students.
